For those curious about the claim by India, there are more than one type of radar, long wave and short wave are the two categories that the other types of radar fall under. Long wave can quite easily track just about anything, even f-22. However, short wave is REQUIRED for AA targeting. India was able to target, track, and fire a simulated AA missile at the Chinese MRA. They even published a paper on it that is publicly available, though it's written in local language. So this isn't just a random claim, it is backed up by research and publication.
